Webmaster's E-mail Account
This articles tries to "expose" some good, funny, not_so_funny emails that I as IGNet.net's
webmaster have got (the domain name is not valid anymore). Luckly, there has not so far been a category of "bad" or "ugly" in that life. It is not exactly an
article, but rather, a compliation of some e-mails, some references to incidents etc that has "happened".
IGNet.net VS ignet.gov
IGNet.net, as you all know is the cyber network of the IGs. ignet.gov, as some of you may know, is the official website of the Federal Inspectors General, USA. Many have been the times, when I have received e-mails from people unheard of, asking for passwords to IGNet.net thinking that they are trying to access ignet.gov. I have lost count of the number of times I have then patiently (so nice of me, rite ?) redirected them to the correct site. Here is one of such e-mails.

Ghost Members
By Ghost member, I mean e-mail to members who have no chance of being an IGNet member, but still bounced mails to them at ignet account does reach me every now and then. Some of these mails are.. a bit censorable kind ( u know what I mean ;) ). I have fun reading through them ( now now, don't call me "naughty". How else can I know what to do with the mail ?). Thought I will share one of the less "explicit" ones with you :

Now comes the thorns. These are kinds that really puts you off, the ones that I qualify as BAD ones. They have never been from IGs, but from people who have, for example, received e-mail from IGNet due to some absent minded IG out there giving me wrong email address for the Mass Mail stuff. The example below is one of the two mails I have got from people. It is actually the worser one.

Can you believe that this mail was sent to me by a girl/women from India ?? For those who feel a bit angry with the above mentioned "dame" , let me assure you that I did send befitting reply back and if need be, am planning a bit of a nasty surprise for her.. ! Oh ya, I know her real name, that she is from Karnataka ( not using Hotmail look up, she is not listed there), uses VSNL account and lots more.
