Two years ago, computer science student Srijith K noticed there was nobody tracking Indian sites that were being defaced on a regular basis. Thus was born Project India Cracked (PIC), a site on which Srijith recorded 780 defacements. Now, two years later, PIC is folding up. Srijith tells Rediff Guide to the Net how he got started and why he's finally decided to call it a day.

in cyberspace, India - An overview", Local Copy (PDF)
Krishnan Nair Srijith, project administrator of "India Cracked", a site that tracks defacements of Indian web sites, says that Indians are "( fortunately or unfortunately ) not that active? in negative forms of internet activism and instead that they are pretty good only in positive forms of internet activism involving politics, charity and community meeting and that they are ? using the online medium in a very good way.?
- Several other reports and interview mentioned in the Project India Cracked media section.
