Bhoot
[Movies]

A movie that had the potential till the last 50 minutes or so - that is how I would describe Bhoot. The movie started nicely, a bit too slow for some of my friends, picked up momentum on the way and crashed down badly in the end. I would have expected something better from RGV. Even the stellar performance by Urmilla and good one by Ajay Devgan could not save the movie fully, but they made it just worth the money. I felt that the role of Nana Patekar did not do justice to the talent this great actor has. He was more of a side kick - a job someone less talented could have easily carried off. Rekha was brought in just for the name. I would say that a more unknown actress could have made the scenes a bit more refreshing.
The movie left me wondering - can't our script writers cook anything original? One more thing - can someone give me the name of the guys from NTU who were sitting in the last row and passing commentaries and co-directing the movie in the loudest possible volume? I just might kick their butt.
