As we travel through this life of ours, we collect and carry convoluted convictions, baseless animosity, useless prejudice and alarming amount of self righteous lint, all folded neatly into our numb baggage, the mind. Somewhere in that dirty and overused bag we may find a small side pocket with crumbles of knowledge, tucked safely away for future use, a pocket rarely opened.
Like some shreds of paper, from the letter that we accidentally left in our shirt pocket before it was sent to the laundry, somewhere in our heart there lies piety, integrity and pristine love. But one day we will throw them out to make space for that piece of colored paper that we all so love.
In this journey we seem to remember only those goons that looted us, the pranksters that misled us and those dark roads we had to travel. The guy who offered us some money when our wallet was stolen has no place in our heart. For it is already filled with deep seated anger towards the robber who dared to rob us in the first place.
Our wandering eyes settle on those luscious lips ten seats away from us while it pretends not to see the stretched arms of that helpless kid in front of us.
But when our own stench is too much for our senses, this journey will end. It will be time for a new one, with new clothes, cleansed mind and rejuvenated heart.
One only hopes it will happen during this lifetime.

Wow! Look at these babies. Philips HDD100 or Rio Karma would be great (there, don't tell me I didn' give any choice). This brings back memories. I almost had one of them.
