Coverage of PGP commenting idea
[Software]
@ 10:48 AM
Some good coverage and discussion on the idea of PGP signing comment posts:
- PGP-Signed Comments - A good introduction by Jacuqes Distler on why comments should be signed.
- Notes on Comment Authentication - Jacques discusses some details on how verification of signed comments will be implemented in OpenPGPComment 1.4 (hopefully to be released next week).
- Links, relvs and profiles - more discussion by Phil Ringnalda on the method to auto-discover PGP/GPG public keys for verification at server side.
- Trackback Authentication - Sam Ruby on extending the concept to use PGP signed trackbacks.
- Paul Bausch - discusses the developments and thinks about implementing the system in his blog too! Great!
- Anil Dash - still thinks the idea is "quixotic", but "interesting to watch".
