Nice to see that version 1.0 of Scoop was released on June 16th. Though I had stopped hacking on Scoop a long time ago, it is nice to see some of the contributions still in the 1.0 codes, especially the cron based digest sending feature. The name in the Credits file doesn't hurt either though I am sure lot of people have contributed more towards scoop that what I have.

While I feel that Kuro5hin has been a big failure of late, I still think that the basic idea behind scoop is great and its implementation is so much better than Slashcode (when I looked at it last, which is not in the recent past, I must confess).
