Anna University has gone and banned camera phones on its campus. Weird reaction to the camera phone sex scandal that is creating waves in Indian media right now. What does this accomplish? It is not that the sex scene that was captured by the camera phone happened in a school or college campus or any place where the school/college authorities had any control.

How on earth does the college authoritieis plan to implement the ban? Search each and every student who enters the campus? What if someone carries a micro-mini digital camera (not a camera phone)? Is he in violation? What if one carries a big camera into the campus? Is he busted?
