Firefox and 75 million

It looks like Firefox has been downloaded 75 million times. I say - big deal! Out of that number, I personally contributed to at the least 20 of those downloads while trying to keep up with the messy transition from 1.0 to 1.0.1... all the way to 1.0.6, on my linux box, my dual boot laptop and Surya's laptop. Numbers don't tell you anything, or maybe it does - the negative!

What was most ironic about the article is it quotes Doug Turner a Mozilla engineer as saying (emphasis added):

Extensions like AdBlocker and even Greasemonkey may be easily ported and seamlessly run on these handhelds,

You just had to chop your own foot by mentioning Greasemonkey, didn't you!
