Just came across two pretty funny posts related to pronunciations - You Are Hear: The Spooken Delhi and Picky? Me?? (post on a different topic though). A sample from the first:

"Your pant is wet."
"I don't think so."
"See it is also leaking."
"What?"
"Please put sticker on your door so nobody touch wet pant."

An interesting observation that can be made in almost all these kind of incidents is that narrator of the incident almost always seems to be trained in Queen's English.
